The body spray commercials are frequently seen on television, and are targeting men with the subtle impression that sexual prowess can be enhanced with the use of the sprays. These commercials are more predominantly seen than commercials regarding designer colognes, even though they are offered on the market at a very cheap price.
There are body spray commercials on television that send a message
to men that they will further enhance their sex appeal to women by
wearing the particular body spray . Although the commercials may be
very well done, the fact remains that many men will believe in the
possibility that fabulous supermodels will create a stampede for their
attention, if they wear the body spray that is being advertised in the
commercials.
Men are visual creatures, and the images presented in the
commercials, and the subconscious implications, makes the commercials
very easy to believe. Men are not usually buyers of perfumes and
colognes, and the depiction of a man spraying himself with altogether
too much of the spray in the commercials, will lead them to feel that
the more that is used to better and faster they will attract the
opposite sex. The message that they should apply more, will lead to
their purchasing more and at a greater rate, thus leading to more
sales for the company.
These body sprays are quite frequently seen on television
commercials, and the commercial seems to convey the message that the
sprays serve the dual purpose of providing a light scent and also the
ability to augment a man's sexual prowess. The presences of these
commercials seem to even overpower the commercials of designer
colognes that are much more costly, even the discounted imitation
brands of the more expensive cologne cost more that the body sprays
that seem to dominate the television commercial spots.
The body sprays themselves do have pleasant scents, although they
contain more chemicals, while the colognes have a much stronger
ingredient mix. Because of this difference, body spray scents will not
last as long as cologne. However they are effective in masking bad
odor and consist of ingredients that will stop odor producing
bacteria. By contrast, cologne has no such odor fighting ingredient
and the mixture of cologne, with the sweat produced by an individual
wearing it, will create a combination of spices and sweat, which may
be more offensive that the smell of a person who was just sweating and
not wearing cologne at all.
